Some special kinds of data are distinguished. A computer program is a group of data, that can be interpreted as Guidance. Most Pc languages generate a difference amongst programs and the other data on which applications operate, but in certain languages, notably Lisp and equivalent languages, systems are basically indistinguishable from other data.
